How can the plastic industry reduce the cost of products and improve the competitiveness of products

time:2023-05-27

At present, the competition in the plastic industry is very fierce, how to reduce the cost of products, improve the competitiveness of products, is a core problem faced by every enterprise, and electric energy in the plastic industry product cost occupies a large proportion, the use of electromagnetic heating technology can effectively reduce the production cost of enterprise products, improve competitiveness.

Current situation of domestic plastic industry

A. Product application industry status:

Plastic products, plastic film, plastic granulation, drawing injection molding, pipe and other production enterprises. At present, the production equipment of these enterprises uses electric heating rings to heat the barrel and die head, so that the plastic raw materials are melted and plasticized and then injected into the mold, stretched, and extruded into the product.

B. There are problems:

(1) Large heat loss: the heating method used by the existing enterprise is wound by the resistance wire, the inner and outer sides of the ring heat, the heat of the inner side (close to the cylinder part) is transmitted to the cylinder, and most of the heat on the outside is lost to the air, resulting in the loss and waste of electric energy.

(2) Ambient temperature rise: due to a large amount of heat loss, the ambient temperature rise, especially in the summer has a great impact on the production environment, the on-site working temperature exceeds 45 ° C, some enterprises have to use air conditioning to reduce the temperature, which causes secondary waste of energy.

(3) Short service life and large maintenance: due to the use of resistance wire heating, the heating temperature is as high as 300 ° C, the resistance wire is easy to burn due to high temperature aging, and the service life of the common electric heating ring is about half a year, so the maintenance workload is relatively large.

Dongguan reporter yesterday from the Dongguan City Plastic Industry Association annual meeting and low carbon energy exhibition, Dongguan plastic enterprises are setting off a wave of energy saving transformation, the city has 5% of the injection molding equipment to complete energy saving transformation, most of the remaining enterprises have been concerned and began to implement the transformation plan.

The plastic industry is one of the traditional industries in Dongguan, the output value and scale in the domestic leading level, last year the city's plastic industry output value accounted for about 10% of the total value of the national plastic industry. There are more than 30,000 injection molding machines and 10,000 extruders in Dongguan, of which more than 95% are non-energy-saving models. Injection molding is a high energy consumption industry, and its energy consumption accounts for about 40% of the total cost. If the motor of the injection molding machine is energy-saving, there will be about 30% energy saving space to play, and the energy saving benefits are very significant.

Liu Shaoran, president of Dongguan Plastic Industry Association, said that for the consideration of economic benefits and environmental protection and low carbon, Dongguan plastic industry has begun to pay attention to energy-saving transformation in the past two years. The 2010 General Assembly held by the Association set up a special low-carbon energy saving display content, invited 8 well-known energy-saving enterprises in Guangdong and Hong Kong, and the energy-saving technology they provided basically included the most advanced energy-saving technology at home and abroad. The annual meeting originally invited more than 400 companies to participate, but yesterday there were more than 600, most of these companies are rushing to energy-saving technology. One afternoon tour, 20 energy-saving renovation projects have been agreed.

In order to meet the needs of enterprises to save energy, the Plastic Industry Association will run a school together with Beijing University of Chemical Technology, Wuhan University and Sichuan University this year, and hold a variety of targeted training courses and correspondence classes to provide the latest energy-saving technology and low-carbon plastic technology training for the technical backbone of enterprises. At the same time, the association will also promote several bioplastics companies in the industry that are at the forefront of the world to help more companies embark on the road of energy conservation and environmental protection.
